Easter outfits

This year our church was offering free family protraits on Easter Sunday, so we got the kids all decked out for the pictures (actually, truth be told, Caleb went out shopping on Saturday night and got our kids the cutest little outfits). Although they haven't emailed me our family pictures yet, here are some of the kids.

Opening Easter baskets in the morning. Don't worry, that's not what Peter wore for the pictures.

Peter looking so cute

Hannah dashing around Kim and Ben's house looking for easter eggs.

Even Miriam changed out of her fleese jammies and put on a nice dress.

Peter having fun with Uncle Ben.

Peter, the ham.

A rare moment of stillness.

And she's off again...

Papa and Peter.

Daddy and Hannah.

Hannah's Special Day

Today was Hannah's Special Day at preschool. It was suppose to be on April 12, her birthday, but she was sick so today was the day. Here's what Hannah had to say about herself.

I am a girl
I am 4 years old
My favorite color is Pink, Red and Blue
My favorite food is Key Lime Pie.
I am learning to swim under water.
I can pick up something I dropped from the table without falling off the chair.

I especially thought that last responce was pretty cute. Anyhow, here are some pictures from preschool

Hannah loves to paint. Today she decided to paint her hands as well.

Here she and Sasha are sorting seeds. This week they are talking about plants and seeds. You will also notice that in this picture she is wearing her birthday crown.

Hannah and Sasha going down the slide together.

Check it out. Both Hannah and Sasha are off the ground in this pic. :-D

Fun Photos

Here are some cute pictures of the cute things that happen around our place.

Last weekend we were in Spokane visiting Titus, Elizabeth, Joe and Judah. Joe was kind enough to share Woody with Miriam.

Peter is such a snuggler. He loves to sit on people's laps and just stay there. Here we are reading a book together. He's big teddy bear. :-D

Miriam was just chilling on the floor (she really can't do much else) and Peter came and joined her. It was really cute.

It was alittle chilly in Spokane so Els loaned us a warm outfit for Miriam.

Hannah and Peter playing with trains together. (I helped Peter with his track)

Hannah with her matching balloons. (Side note: I got her these balloons for her birthday 2 weeks ago and they are still on the ceiling. It's amazing that the balloons are still afloat!)

The cuteness we call Miriam.

Caleb and Hannah snuggling on the couch together. Caleb is giving Hannah a quick lesson on economics from Fortune magazine. He even taught her a new word: Forclosure. It's a word every 4 year old needs to know. Don't you agree?

Peter holding Miriam

Miriam sort of smiling. She has a better smile than this but it's hard to capture on camera.

Caleb with the 3 kiddos

Miriam's even cute when she's sleeping...and so much fun to hold.

And in other news, we bought an Xbox 360 and the Kinect. The Kinect is really fun...alot more fun than I thought it was going to be...and really good exercise. Unlike the Wii, you can't fake it. You really have to jump and run. Well, Caleb also bought Halo and when he plays he makes funny faces, like this one. Isn't he cute?

I'm so blessed to have such a cute family. I think I've used the word cute to describe every single family member in this post.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted something. Normally if I have a moment to myself I either nap...or nap.

Happy Birthday Hannah

Today is Hannah's 4th birthday. We've been celebrating all weekend (on Friday we had a kids party, and on Saturday we had a family party). But I saved my favorite present for today.

Hannah loves to match and she loves to help in the kitchen. We used these tonight while making her favorite dinner: Els's Taco Salad.

*More pictures to come from her birthday parties...probably after we get back from Spokane this weekend. Let the celebrating continue! :-D
