Never Again...whoops

So, you may (or may not) remember that in February I posted a video of Hannah walking. What you probably don't know is that it was quite the ordeal to get it displayed correctly. I had taken the video vertically, and you can't just rotate it like you do photos...Caleb had to do something fancy, and even so the video made everything look wide.

Well, this is an easy problem to solve...just don't take vertical videos; always take them horizontal. I can remember this, right? I can remember not to make the same mistake again. (see below...make sure your volume is on)

I guess it's easier said than done. I have taken 2 or 3 vertical videos since then, and after every time I'm like, "shoot, I'm never going to do that again." And yet I still do. But you know it makes me think...and remember why we need grace & forgiveness. It's so easy to make the same mistakes over and over again. Luckily, God has a heart of gold and will keep forgiving us if we have a repentful heart. Hopefully my viewer can do the same for all my sideways videos. :)

The Latest

So here are a couple of updates with what Hannah has been doing.

As you can see, she shares her mom's love for strawberries.

Here she is in a cute top and head band. Although headbands really aren't the best thing for Hannah. One, she pulls them off pretty quick. And two, they leave a mark on her head because her noggin is so gigantuous.

chugs

So Caleb, Hannah and I went bike riding the other day, and check out what we bought.

Yeah, they are little chugs. I got a Lemonade Chug and Caleb got an ice tea chug. It's not everyday you find a drink named after you. :-D

Cans

So check this out. Hannah is super smart.

She had totally stacked two cans on top of one another. Then I stacked the third one on for her (to show her that she could make it taller), and then she put the forth one on. I guess this means we need to get her some blocks or something.

Goslings

Today Caleb tipped us off that there were some goslings & geese hanging out just down the road from us. So Hannah and I went walking along Mem Drive in search of such balls of fuzz. Sure enough, they were there, eating some grass and chillin'.

This is the whole crew. There were 15 goslings and 2 geese.

We were actually able to get pretty close the the little critters, until we scared them off.

Here's an action shot of them fleeing as we approached.

Two nights in a row

So this weekend Caleb and I went out 2 nights in a row (without Hannah!). On Saturday night we went to the Grad Gala; a super fancy dance at a really nice hotel. We had a sit down, 3 course meal, and then there was a live swing band (boy was that fun...Caleb sure remembers alot of moves from our dance class in College!)

Hannah stayed home with our friend Jen.

The next night was the real test. On Sunday we went on the Spirit of Boston Cruise with our dorm. We left at 4:15 and didn't get back until 9:30. Yeah, that's 4.5 hours of Hannah being awake...and of us not being able to come home (there's really no way to get off the ship once it goes out). Our friend Andrew watched her that night, and of course, she was amazing.

Here's a picture of us on the cruise.

The cruise was a different kind of fun, but still very much a blast. All of us GRT's had a table, and then we all went out on the dance floor together. I didn't get any pictures of us dancing, but we were definitely bustin' a move!

Below is our GRT table.

Here's a view of the Boston Skyline from the Harbor.

And us in front of the view.
